Text-Directed Video

Describe the scene, subject action, camera movement, lighting, pacing, and desired atmosphere in a prompt. Grok Imagine is designed for strong instruction following across photorealistic and stylized video concepts.

First-Frame Animation

APIXO image-to-video mode animates one source image. The reference establishes the opening visual context while the prompt directs movement, camera behavior, scene development, and creative treatment.

Grok Image Continuation

Instead of uploading a new source URL, APIXO can use a completed grok-image task and select one of its six results by index. This creates a direct still-to-motion workflow across the two routes.

Extended Clip Control

APIXO accepts any integer duration from 6 through 30 seconds. This platform range supports both concise social shots and longer single-scene concepts, with billing determined by the submitted duration.

Five Frame Ratios

APIXO exposes 1:1, 3:2, 2:3, 16:9, and 9:16 framing. Produce square assets, horizontal cinematic shots, portrait compositions, or vertical clips for mobile placements.

Motion Style Presets

APIXO requires a non-empty prompt, duration, and resolution for both supported generation modes.

Image-to-video accepts one direct image URL or one completed Grok Image task result, never both.

APIXO bills every generated second at the selected resolution’s per-second rate.

The route does not expose video-to-video editing, extension, first-and-last-frame input, or multiple reference images.

APIXO result URLs expire after 15 days; production systems should download and store required outputs promptly.

Generated videos remain subject to provider moderation, and rejected prompts or reference images may fail the task.

Grok Video questions

APIXO’s grok-video route corresponds to xAI’s grok-imagine-video, officially listed as version 1.0.0. It does not represent Grok Imagine Video 1.5, Grok Image, a Grok language model, or the separate quality image model.

No video-input field is exposed by this route. APIXO supports text-to-video and image-to-video only, so xAI’s separate upstream video-editing and extension capabilities should not be assumed available through grok-video.

Provide either one public JPG, PNG, or WebP image URL or a completed APIXO grok-image task ID with an index from 0 through 5. The task-based method selects one previously generated image as the source frame.

xAI positions Grok Imagine as a native video-audio system, but APIXO’s public grok-video schema does not expose an audio toggle or document guaranteed audio behavior. Audio output should therefore be validated with representative tasks before production use.

APIXO does not publicly expose frame-rate or output-count parameters for this endpoint. A successful task returns one MP4 video URL. Resolution, aspect ratio, duration, and motion style are the documented output controls.
