Suno on APIXO currently uses the V6 family: V6, V6 Mini and V6 Wild. Accepted legacy requests may map to these modes rather than generate with the old version. For creators, the useful questions are which mode to try, what to describe and how to decide whether a result fits the project.
Turn a brief into music: Editorial workflow diagram, not a tested model output
Choose a mode around the task
Suno's September 9 V6 announcement positions V6 around precision, Wild around exploration and Mini around efficiency. These are official product positions, not measured success rates for your brief.
At the APIXO Suno model page, start with V6 when you have a defined direction. Include Wild when exploring alternatives. Judge whether Mini meets the brief by listening to its actual result.
APIXO Pricing, checked on October 10, 2026, lists $0.18 per generation task for the V6 family; the model page uses the same rate for all three modes. A task can return up to two candidates. That is neither a guarantee of two complete tracks nor a separate charge for each track. Suno's own subscriptions and account benefits should not be assumed to apply on another platform.
API usage rates; Studio monthly credits are separate.
Listen again when reusing an old prompt
The same words can produce different arrangements, vocal treatment or structure in a new version. Keep the useful requirements and remove contradictions.
An untested example:
Instrumental music for a nighttime city video. Moderate tempo and restrained energy, led by electric piano, light drums and soft bass. Gradually settle at the end. No vocals.
This creates review criteria: restrained energy, no vocals and an ending suitable for editing. A vague request makes the next revision harder to diagnose.
Pick description-led or custom-lyrics creation
A concept description leaves lyric and arrangement exploration to the model. If wording is already approved, use the custom-lyrics workflow and separate lyrics from production instructions.
Markers such as [Verse], [Chorus] and [Bridge] can communicate structure. They do not guarantee exact singing, duration or timing. Check whether the text is singable before judging the generation.
For an advertisement, listen closely to essential brand wording. Precise subtitle timing and the final call to action may need editing after generation.
Give the first listening round a clear brief
Write down the use, essential words, musical direction, vocal requirement and ending. Explore with a short concept while lyrics are undecided; switch to custom lyrics once the text is settled. This instrumental brief has not been generated.
Item: Use · Requirement: Background for a night-city video · Listening question: Does it work with the footage and narration?
Item: Direction · Requirement: Restrained electronic music, electric piano and light drums · Listening question: Is the arrangement unnecessarily dense?
Item: Vocals · Requirement: Instrumental · Listening question: Are there identifiable vocals or lyrics?
Item: Structure · Requirement: Steady development with a resolved ending · Listening question: Is it easy to cut and finish?
Item: Exclusions · Requirement: Sudden explosive sections or artist-imitation requests · Listening question: Does the result stay within the production brief?
Keep the same brief when auditioning V6, Mini and Wild, and listen through every returned candidate. After exploring in Wild, describe the arrangement features you like in a revised text brief and test V6. That is not evidence that APIXO provides every official audio-import or editing workflow.
For precise timing in an existing video, check the music on the editing timeline and trim or fade it as needed. Requested musical structure and an exact advertising duration are separate requirements; generation alone does not guarantee a track of the desired number of seconds.
Change one clear problem at a time
If the style is wrong, revise the style description. If words are omitted, examine line density and structure. Changing the model, lyrics, style and controls simultaneously makes it difficult to identify what helped.
The current Suno Docs describe structured controls for style adherence and exploration. Available controls should support a listening decision rather than all being maximized. A vocal preference is best effort, not a voice-cloning or identity guarantee.
Check what the current website actually offers
Suno's official announcement also describes editing and multi-source workflows. APIXO's current Suno page describes music generation with MP3 and cover-image results. Verify the actual entry point before expecting another platform to reproduce every Studio feature.
Creators can work from the current model workspace; developers can check the API contract. Interface labels and API field names do not need to match.
Save after a complete review
Listen to the opening, essential lyrics, chorus, transitions and ending. Check that music does not overwhelm narration in the final video. Review each candidate independently and save the file, mode, prompt and reason for keeping it.
APIXO result URLs expire after 15 days. Download required results promptly. Start with one defined brief, identify the largest mismatch, then revise that variable before paying for more generations.
